Description: | You must see Europe at least once and car rental offers? After much building work and restoration, the Musee Picasso finally reopened in October 2014, so once again Parisians could enjoy some of the Spanish maestro's finest artworks including 'La Celestina', 'The Supplicant' and 'Portrait of Marie-Therese Walter'. Set in 17-century mansion the Hotel Sale in the heart of the Marais, Picasso's masterpieces hang on the walls of bright, spacious exhibition rooms. Now in its fourth decade, the Musee Picasso is one of the city's most precious and prestigious institutions. For the love of Nature, one should visit Kornati National Park. To be honest, travel to Croatia doesn't make much sense for tranquility-hunters unless they visit the Kornati Archipelago that is very often dubbed as nautical paradise. About 140 islands make up this National Park where dramatic caverns, cliffs, and caves of the tight-knit isles throw an awful lot of challenges. These islands are mostly made of Karst Limestone and offer excellent opportunities for hiking. Yes, for those tourists who love some real excitement, sailing through the National Park adds a whole new dimension. For those who are not big enthusiasts of 'sail alone' opportunity, the National Park offers guided tours from Split, Sibenik, and Zadar. Think of the Netherlands, and you'll inevitably think of tulips, the country's most popular flower. And one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Netherlands showcases these and other spring bulbs in spectacular abundance. Keukenhof, otherwise known as the "Garden of Europe," is located on the outskirts of the town of Lisse in what's widely considered the "bulb belt" of the Netherlands. The largest public garden in the world, encompassing more than 70 acres of what was once the former kitchen (or "keuken") garden of a large country estate, Keukenhof displays more than 700 varieties of tulips, which are at their height in April and May. But thanks to its massive commercial hot houses, the display continues almost year-round. In these, you'll see endless rows of flowering tulips, along with thousands of hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils. |
